PRESIDENT OF INDIA TO VISIT WEST BENGAL, TELANGANA AND RAJASTHAN FROM DECEMBER 18 TO 23
President Murmu to embark on a five-day visit to three states from Dec 18. New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu will embark on a five-day visit to West Bengal, Telangana and Rajasthan from December 18 to 23, 2023, to attend various programmes and events in these states.
According to a Rashtrapati Bhavan statement, the President will grace the 69th convocation of IIT Kharagpur in West Bengal on December 18 and will later arrive at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Telangana’s Secunderabad.
On December 19, the President will inaugurate the 10th edition of the Indian Science Congress at the University of Hyderabad and will also address the inaugural session of the event.
On December 20, the President will visit the historic Golconda Fort and the Qutub Shahi Tombs in Hyderabad and will also interact with the students and faculty of the Maulana Azad National Urdu University.
On December 21, the President will proceed to Rajasthan, where she will attend the valedictory function of the 75th anniversary celebrations of the Rajasthan High Court in Jaipur.
On December 22, the President will visit the Pushkar Lake and the Brahma Temple in Ajmer and will also grace the 16th convocation of the Central University of Rajasthan in Bandarsindri.
On December 23, the President will visit the Jaisalmer War Museum and the Jaisalmer Fort and will also interact with the BSF personnel at the Indo-Pak border in Jaisalmer.
The President’s visit to these three states is expected to strengthen the ties between the Centre and the states and to highlight the achievements and challenges of the country in various fields.
