In his response to a post by Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal on X, Shri Modi stated

“The establishment of the National Turmeric Board is a matter of immense joy, particularly for our hardworking turmeric farmers across India! This will ensure better opportunities for innovation, global promotion, and value addition in turmeric production. It will strengthen the supply chains, benefiting both farmers and consumers alike.”

The establishment of the Board is seen as a crucial step towards enhancing the competitiveness of turmeric production, facilitating value-added products, and expanding markets both domestically and internationally.

The establishment of the National Turmeric Board marks a significant milestone in promoting and supporting turmeric cultivation across India.
