7 Indian Information Service (IIS) Officers Promoted to Junior Administrative Grade. The Government of India has approved the promotion of seven Group-A officers of the Indian Information Service (IIS) to the Junior Administrative Grade (Non-Functional Selection Grade) in Pay Level 13 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (equivalent to ₹37,400–67,000 with a Grade Pay of ₹8,700). The promotions are effective from January 1, 2025.

3. Shri Qazi Mohd Salman Ibrahim IIS

   • Current Position: Joint Director, Media & Communication (M&C), Press Information Bureau (PIB), Srinagar.
   • New Posting: Promoted as Director, PIB, Srinagar, with additional charge of Regional News Unit (RNU), Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar (DDK), Srinagar.

4. Shri Dheep Joy Mampilly IIS

   • Current Position: Joint Director, Media & Communication (M&C), PIB, Chandigarh – on the strength of Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Regional Office Chandigarh.

5. Ms Parvathy Rahul IIS

   • Current Position: Joint Director (News), DD News, New Delhi.
